’3′ on April 6, ‘Saguni’ pushed to May!

It was widely reported that ’3′ featuring DhanushShruti Haasan will see light of the day on March 30. The latest is that the film’s release will take place on April 6. It is also further said that ‘Saguni’ has been pushed to the first week of May!
’3′ marks the debut of Aishwarya Dhanush as a director in Tamil cinema. The film is red hot in trade thanks to the worldwide success of ‘Kolaveri’ and will be simultaneously releasing Tamil, Telugu and Hindi.
The Hindi rights of the film have been bagged by Sony and Sun TV has bagged the satellite rights of ’3′ in Tamil. It will showcase three stages of love between Dhanush and Shruti.
Karthi’s political satire ‘Saguni’ that boasts off several USPs will showcase him in a never seen before avatar and now with a May release the film will clash with Thala Ajith’s magnum opus ‘Billa 2′ that’s now slated for an April 27 release, as a pre-treat to the Thala fans for his birthday that falls on May 1.

Rahman to score music for Dhanush’s next ?

The project involving Dhanush under Bharat Bala direction is almost confirmed. Even recently Bharat, the video film maker, said he will start the production sometime this month end or in the first week of April. Now as a part of the technical crew, Bharat is aiming to rope in Oscar fame AR Rahman for numbers. If this materialized, then Dhanush will be rising to the universal standard of his films. And incidentally this could be the first venture for Dhanush to get music from ARR.
More information is awaited for this film which will revolve around Dhanush’s involvement in another Bollywood film with Anand Raj titled Ranjaah. As ARR is said to have given his consent, it indicates the quality of the movie since the musician is very keen on taking up such projects. All that we could hope is for an ideal combination of Kolaveri singer with Oscar winner. ARR – Dhanush combo may click off as Dhanush’s film 3 is getting ready for release during the first week of April.

G Rajendran makes his debut as filmmaker withKondan Koduthan, a movie that speaks about family values and relationships. Besides that he has cranked the camera. The family is set within a family in a village.
Kondan Koduthan review
Kathirkaman and Advaitha play the lead roles while Ilavarasu, Sulakshana and Meera Krishnan are also in the cast. Music is by Deva.
Rasu (Kathirkaman) is a kabbadi player. he lives a happy life and is eager to tie the wedding knot to Sevandhi (Advaitha), his uncle Chellaiyah’s (lavarasu) daughter. There is a tradition in their family that they would mary within their families itself.
But Rasu’s sister’s wedding with Sevvandhi’s brother is broken and the bridegroom dies. The families fallout.
Kondan Koduthan review
Ilavarasu is the man of the moment. He plays with style. Sulakshana, Ganja Karupu and Raj Kapoor chip in with their best.
Music is by Deva is good and he has made a strong comeback.
Produced by P Bharathy and Master Sriram, the family is entertaining and must for today’s society

Oru Kal Oru Kannadi music review

Banner: Red Giant Movies
Production: Udhayanidhi Stalin
Direction: Rajesh
Star-casts: Udhayanidhi Stalin, Hansika MotwaniSanthanam,Saranya Ponvannan and others
Music: Harris Jayaraj
Working with Harris Jayaraj has been Rajesh’s long run dream and finally they come together with Oru Kal Oru Kannadi. The film is nowhere different from the director’s previous comedy entertainers Siva Manasula Sakthi & Boss Engira Baskaran.
Oru Kal Oru Kannadi music review
Here comes the third on the row ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ that has already won the best praises from everyone with its humorous trailer. Harris Jayaraj has given in the songs suiting to the nature of movie. The treatment is good and mediocre in places as well.
1. Adada Oru – Vocals: Karthik
The song has a base from Harris’ yesteryear song ‘Silu Siluvena’ (Kovil) as you can easily sense it in many parts. However, the music director manages to trivialize these replications with the rendition of Karthik, which is colossal in his unique way. The guitars and other instrumentals in accompaniment make it sound good.
2. Akila Akila – Vocals: Aalaap Raju, Chinmayee, Sharmila
Hasili Fisili from Aadhavan and the fast-paced remix style of Vizhi Moodi Yosithal (Ayan). Hear the song couple of times and these tunes will flow through the senses. Aalaap Raju, Chinmayee and Sharmila have intonated with the right feel what’s more necessary for the song.

3. Azhage Azhage – Vocals: Mukesh, Sri Madhumitha
The song has an appealing factor with the singers and instrumentalists unleashing their potentials. Mukesh is the showstopper here and Sri Madhumitha adds up emblazoning attribute to the track.
The visuals by Balasubramaniam should be adding more intensity to the song through the visuals.
4. Kadhal Oru Butterfly – Vocals: Aalaap Raju, Hemachandran, Sunitha Saarathy
Fall in love at first sight. Maybe, it’s just for the protagonist, but the listeners of this song as well. Aalaap Raju has already streaked success with Harris Jayaraj in couple of chartbusters ‘Ennamo Yedho’ and ‘Engeyum Kadhal’. It’s a hat-trick spell from the duo combo.

Hemachandran and Sunitha Saarathy deliver a flawless performance. The rhythmic strokes in guitars and melodious treatment make the song more attractive.
5. Venam Macha – Vocals: Naresh Iyer, Velmurugan
Finally, to end the album with – you have an ultimate Kuthu treat from Harris Jayaraj. Last time, we heard a song on this genre was ‘Ava Enna’ from Vaaranam Aayiram. The beats and style of rendition are the same.
Oru Kal Oru Kannadi music review
To avoid the similarities, Harris has opted for a new bunch of singers. Naresh Iyer comes up with the rendition of pathos style and Velmurugan as usual is tremendous with his vocalism.
On the whole, Oru Kal Oru Kannadi has a mixed bag of songs with the couple of songs ‘Kadhal Oru Butterfly’ and ‘Venam Macha’ are sure to rock in audio charts.
